5′ meditation

‘Every day at least, we should hear a little music, read a good poem, see a fine painting, and, if at all possible, speak a few reasonable words.’

This was said by J. W. Goethe about 200 yeas ago. I would like to use his idea, in a slightly different direction. Every day, we can take at least five minutes away from our practical life into experiencing beauty, and silence. To hear a little beautiful music, to read some deepening insight, to look at some profound painting or sculpture, and, if at all possible, to stop the noisy mind and to experience a few moments of silence.
