Sanskrit name: Dekasana

The yoga pose where the body is lowered upwards, parallel to the ground and supported in one foot. Hands to the sides, outstretched as the wings of a plane.

Recommendations and precautions:

  • Not recommended in case of migraines or extreme arterial pressure.

Physical benefits:

  • Improves balance
  • Improves brain connections by balancing the body

The Airplane is a pose that requires concentration, because the body tends to shake and constantly lose balance. One enters the pose slowly and maintaining focus on the present moment.
